Specialising in corporate migration and labour agreements, Hamilton Watts caters to clients throughout Australia and overseas.
With offices already in Melbourne and Sydney, the company solidified its presence in WA in July 2013 with the opening of a branch in Perth, where Hamilton Watts has a number of existing clients.
The company’s Perth director and principal consultant Robert Moorhouse formally opened the office. Having joined Hamilton Watts in 2008, Mr Moorhouse previously worked for the Department of Immigration, and holds qualifications from Griffith University (Queensland) and Victoria University.
He has particular expertise in employer-sponsored visas (including occupational training), and in negotiating migration Labour Agreements which has included negotiations for the establishment of Australia’s first Enterprise Migration Agreement (EMA).
The Federal Government introduced EMAs in 2012 to assist the resources sector; EMAs help major projects to access labour from outside of Australia to cover skills vacancies that cannot be filled from within the domestic labour market. EMAs are negotiated with project owners and set the terms by which foreign workers will be engaged on a project.
Hamilton Watts’ consultants work closely with corporate clients to prepare expertly managed visa applications, and procure the right visas for their workforces.
All of Hamilton Watts’ consultants are registered migration agents with the Migration Agents Registration Authority, and members of the Migration Institute of Australia. Combined, they possess more than 160 years of immigration experience.
Hamilton Watts’ practice is built on the principles of professionalism, availability and dedication, and operates to high ethical standards.
Australia’s immigration laws are complex and constantly changing. Hamilton Watts can relieve human resources teams of undertaking rigorous immigration and visa work, representing a sound investment which provides valuable returns.
Hamilton Watts’ people, processes and technology are all focussed on one thing: to achieve successful visa outcomes for clients in the shortest possible times.
