WITH an outstanding track record of supplying large projects since its inception, Mobile Concreting Solutions (MCS) has gone from strength to strength and is well placed for further growth in coming years.
A proudly Australian-owned ISO9001 Quality and NATA accredited company that has serviced the WA construction industry since 2008, MCS has capitalised on the growth in WA’s North West to become a prominent concrete supplier for remote area projects throughout the state.
MCS operates a reliable fleet of agitator trucks, road trains, mobile batching equipment and ancillary support plant to handle large resource projects.
The company has the capacity, staff and management systems to service several major projects at once.
Currently Mobilised at Fortescue Metals Group’s Solomon Hub project, MCS is supplying an anticipated 80,000 cubic metres of quality concrete.
The company recently displayed its significant capabilities during two continuous pours – 1900cum and 2200cum of super chilled concrete – that were reportedly some of the largest pours in the North West.
These pours enabled Fortescue to significantly accelerate its construction schedule, an achievement that gained the attention of the company’s chief executive officer who described it
“as a significant project milestone”; Fortescue’s project director described the company’s award of a contract to MCS as “one of the best decisions for this project to date”.
Other notable projects MCS has been involved in include Sino Iron’s Cape Preston magnetite project, where it supplied 120,000cum of quality concrete; and the Collgar Wind Farm, a green energy project where 40,000cum of concrete was supplied for 111 wind turbine bases.
MCS has an enviable repeat client list – a testament to its ability to meet both client expectations and project outcomes.
