AS one of the largest suppliers of buses to the Australian mining industry, IVECO designs, manufactures and markets a broad range of small, medium and large buses and coaches, including four-wheel
drive buses.
With extensive experience in providing vehicles for remote operations, it currently supplies buses to numerous resource projects Australia-wide, for various applications.
As the only original equipment manufacturer that produces bus chassis in Australia, IVECO has its own manufacturing base in Dandenong, Victoria, where it designs and manufactures two types of bus chassis specifically developed for the harsh Australian conditions. To further complement its Australian range, the company also imports three additional chassis models from IVECO Europe, covering rear engine and front engine configurations.
IVECO creates employment in Australia for thousands of people in industries from retailing operations to component suppliers.
Globally, the company employs more than 26,000 people and runs 27 production units in 16 countries, using excellent technologies developed across five research centres.
