Next generation lighting with JLG-

JLG’s range of lighting towers are all designed, tested and built in Australia to satisfy the demands of Australian conditions. The release of the Hybrid LED-6 ‘Mine Spec’ and Hybrid LT3  Skid Mount lighting towers mark an important milestone in the company’s journey to offering a complete range of environmentally friendly products for all applications.

With a light output of 312,000lm, drawing energy from two 205Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries, the HLED-6 has a run time of 12 hours from a singular charge. A full recharge takes 4.5 hours using the industry proven Tier 4 final Kubota Z482 – 2-cylinder water cooled diesel engine.

These features coupled with a trailer platform and canopy that is closely derived from the Mine Spec 6308AN, which was in production in some form since 2002, deliver a bulletproof package. These lighting towers will stand up in the harsh conditions seen on mine sites while drastically reducing fuel usage, carbon dioxide emissions and servicing frequency and costs.

The HLED-6 is complimented in the new Hybrid lighting tower range by the Hybrid LT3  which is designed using the same globally renowned JLG engineering processes.

The ability to fit up to 20 LT3’s on a semi-trailer makes moving assets over large distances much less of a headache while the extra low voltage DC operating system used on all JLG lighting towers negates the need for a qualified electrician to conduct maintenance or test and tag.

As with all of JLG’s product range, technical support over the phone is offered covering all time zones, as well as access to factory trained technicians with fully equipped service vehicles located across the country. Parts are supplied from warehouses on both the east and west coast to minimise equipment down time.
