More than just access

The JLG evolution continues at pace
JLG Industries is taking its offering to the next level, expanding beyond its renowned access equipment range to become a true solution provider for the industry.
With new product categories, expanded services and local manufacturing, JLG is making it easier than ever for businesses to get the equipment and support they need from a single trusted partner.
More choices for hire and rental companies
For decades, JLG has been a market leader in access equipment, with an established presence across Australia and New Zealand. Now, the company is broadening its reach and range, with the reintroduction of telehandlers, a range of mini dumpers, and a newly expanded lighting tower range made here in Australia, at JLG’s Port Macquarie facility.
“Our goal is to be a total solutions provider for our customers,” says Daniel Reeve, National Sales Manager, JLG Industries (Australia and New Zealand).
“Whether it’s new machinery catering across a range of industries, service, spare parts or application-specific solutions, we want our customers to be able to come to us for everything they need.”
Even better support for customers
JLG’s diversification is already underway, with many of the new product lines available now and further expansions rolling out over the next 12–18 months. For customers, this means greater convenience, more product choices and a trusted partner that continues to evolve with the industry. Hot on the heels of JLG’s acquisition of the premium AUSA product range, their ambition of being the ‘total solution provider’ continues to grow.
Great news for the mining, construction and infrastructure industries
While AUSA products have been available in Australia and New Zealand for nearly three decades, this is the first time the product has been offered by a direct-to-market OEM. Adding AUSA’s industry-leading dumpers and rough-terrain forklifts means JLG can now be an integral part of the whole construction cycle, from ground-breaking to finished builds.
This move will allow the company to provide greater support to a wider range of industries, including civil construction, landscaping, mining and infrastructure projects.
Now there are even more Tracked Mini Dumpers to choose from…
The JLG Tracked Mini Dumper range — from the compact TD1500H hi-tip that can handle up to half-tonne loads, to the TD2500H hi-tip and TD2500R rotating dumper with its one-tonne capacity — is perfect for landscape work or tackling jobs in areas where space is at a premium.
“We’ve now added the TD6400 to our Mini Dumper range. This powerful, durable and relatively compact ride-on Mini Dumper features excellent gradeability for groundwork on uneven, muddy, sandy or sloping ground — thanks to the all-terrain tracks that can go where wheels alone can’t,” Daniel said.
“Perfect for construction work, renovations, demolitions, landscaping and so many other applications that need uncompromising versatility and the ability to operate in restricted spaces — the TD6400 can shift up to 2.8t at a time.”
… and even more lighting solutions
Daniel continues, “The range of solutions we offer means, whatever the size of job, whatever the tools and whatever the back-up you need, JLG has got you covered, from start to finish. The new AUSA equipment is a game-changer for our customers, while the new TD6400 really beefs up the range’s rubble-shifting power.
“JLG hasn’t just got your earthmoving needs covered. Our SSL Lighting Tower range, designed and built right here in Port Macquarie, NSW, is the reliable, easy-to-transport solution for when streetlights go down, or accessways require extra lighting. Reaching up to 5m in height and being solar powered, the SSL can literally be used anywhere.”
Making the shift to hybrid simple and cost effective
JLG has also made significant strides in expanding its hybrid lighting tower offerings, giving customers a greener choice across multiple product lines, which are all Australian made and designed in JLG’s Port Macquarie, NSW facility.
JLG also provide a refurbishment service that allows existing diesel JLG lighting towers to be converted into hybrid units. This gives customers the flexibility to upgrade their assets for improved efficiency and reduced environmental impact without the need for full replacement.
Expert support, direct from JLG’s team
JLG is also continuing to invest heavily in aftermarket support, expanding its team of in-house technicians and field service mechanics across capital cities and regional areas. Unlike other brands that rely on third-party service providers, JLG employs its own experts to ensure customers receive the highest level of support.
“Having a strong team of skilled people is just as important as having the right equipment. We’re focused on making sure our customers get the best service possible, whether it’s maintenance, spare parts or technical support.”
A one-stop-shop across the industry
“Our core customers operating in the construction and civil engineering space, now benefit from access to even more great products, backed by the industry-renowned JLG support network,” Daniel said.
“They enjoy the reassurance and efficiency of just the one supplier, now able to manage more of their favourite premium products needed to satisfy their customers, and get the job done!”
As Daniel summarises: “At the end of the day, we want to be easy to do business with. By expanding our range and strengthening our service capabilities, we’re making sure our customers can rely on JLG as their total solutions provider.”
