The M50E is a true all-rounder for construction site applications.

The proven MOBILAIR e-power series has been redefined with the launch of the M 50E SFC (Sigma Frequency Control). This precision-manufactured compressor combines cutting-edge German engineering with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship. Designed to set a new benchmark for portable screw compressors, the M 50E SFC offers a high-performance solution that protects both your equipment and the ecosystem.

The M 50E SFC is specifically engineered for environmentally sensitive job sites where sustainability is a priority. It features an integrated condensate management system that actively prevents oily water from discharging into the soil, ensuring environmental compliance. As with all e-power MOBILAIR compressors, separated condensate is collected in a dedicated container for safe disposal, and an optional compressed air aftercooler is available for enhanced air quality. To ensure year-round reliability, the integrated Anti-Frost Control automatically prevents tool freeze-ups during winter operations. This advanced system requires zero manual intervention, eliminating the “tuning” guesswork often required in harsh climates and significantly reducing downtime.

The M50E is a true all-rounder for construction site applications.

At the heart of this powerhouse is the Sigma Frequency Control (SFC) variable speed drive, which delivers decisive benefits by optimizing power consumption through advanced automation. This technology allows for an energy-efficient adaptation of motor speed to real-time air requirements, which improves overall efficiency and reduces operating costs. Users can flexibly adjust the working pressure between 6 and 11 bar via the frequency converter to suit diverse applications, such as blowing out formwork at 7 bar or dry ice cleaning at 10 bar.

The frequency converter also provides a critical advantage by ensuring a low starting current. This reduced draw prevents power network overloads, making it the ideal choice for operation on sensitive power grids, generators, or future-proof external battery storage systems. Furthermore, the unit is equipped with a DUAL Control System that features an integrated automatic start/stop and a dedicated quick-release coupling for seamless network pressure regulation.

Despite its advanced feature set, the German-made M 50E SFC remains a versatile all-rounder for construction and industrial service. The unit is exceptionally lightweight, weighing in at under 750 kg, and offers multiple enclosure options to suit different environments. It is available with a roto-moulded, impact-resistant PE enclosure or a zinc-phosphated, powder-coated metal enclosure. Both options provide excellent protection against the elements, ensuring the M 50E SFC remains a durable asset whether serving as a primary air source or a temporary backup unit.
