Introducing the ARB multi-purpose jack base for safer vehicle lifting

Safety is paramount for commercial and mining vehicles operating in remote locations. Many mine-spec vehicles are equipped with bull bars and service bodies and they are also found with suspension lifts. Changing a tyre on the side of a dirt road or sandy track can be a hazardous task, particularly for vehicles equipped with suspension lifts and a factory jack.

The new ARB Multi-Purpose Jack Base has been designed to provide a stable lifting platform, ensuring a safer tyre change or vehicle maintenance even in challenging environments.

Engineered for safety and versatility

The Multi-Purpose Jack Base is made from high[1]density, UV-stabilised polyethylene and has been rated to support loads of up to 2000kg. It raises the factory jack height by 75mm, making it ideal for vehicles lifted 2”-3” above factory height. Available in Hi-Vis Safety Yellow or Neutral Grey, it features dual[1]sided reflective decals for enhanced visibility. The roto-moulded construction ensures durability in harsh conditions, while its versatile design makes it an essential tool for commercial and mining vehicle operators. People can use the jack base in multiple configurations:

  • Bottle Jack Support: securely positions the factory vehicle bottle jacks, preventing movement and improving the stability of raising lifted vehicles
  • Scissor Jack Compatibility: provides a solid platform for a scissor jack, compensating for increased lift height of modified vehicles
  • Wheel Chock: enhances vehicle safety by acting as a wheel chock when parked on uneven terrain
  • Jockey Wheel Plate: offers a stable, rated surface for jockey wheels, preventing sinking in soft ground
