Bravus head of production and site senior executive Glen Corfield said that more than fifty state-of-the-art tablets no longer needed for mining operations have been upcycled to support the work of Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia and the Salvation Army. Northern Territory records highest ever mineral exploration spending of $74.4m

The Northern Territory has recorded its highest ever mineral exploration expenditure, with $74.4m spent in the September quarter. This figure is up 30% from the same quarter last year and surpasses the previous record of $71.6m set in the September 2011 quarter. Notably, the Northern Territory’s 30% increase was much higher than the Australia-wide increase of 5%. Epiroc has completed the acquisition of a majority stake (53%) of Radlink, an Australian company that provides mines with wireless connectivity solutions. Radlink, headquartered in Perth, Australia, designs, delivers, and integrates wireless data and voice communication networks and supporting infrastructure to surface and underground mines throughout Australia. Robust wireless networks are vital to support mining automation, including autonomous and teleremote solutions, which in turn strengthen safety and productivity. The company has approximately 330 employees and had revenues in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, of about AU$145 million.
