Larvotto progresses at Hillgrove

Larvotto Resources (ASX: LRV) is progressing its ongoing exploration drilling program at the Eleanora and Golden Gate prospects within the Hillgrove antimony-gold project in NSW.
The diamond drilling at Eleanora continues to provide thick high-grade gold-antimony downhole intercepts with best results such as ELG225 with 28.1m at 5.68 g/t gold from 186m.
Other results include ELG225 3.3m at 11.49g/t gold from 167.2m, ELG228 18.4m at 6.26 g/t gold from 86.6m and ELG228 2.0m at 23.61g/t gold from 117m.
The company says this demonstrates the potential of other high-grade shoots that remain underexplored.
For Golden Gate, the results are defining multiple lodes with continuity building between GGL009 and new intercepts in GGL010 and the western Golden Gate North Reef.
The results include GGL010 5.8m at 4.91 g/t gold from 166.6m, GGL011 6.8m at 3.25g/t gold from 47m and GGL013 8.5m at 4.03g/t gold from 196m.
While no mineral resource estimate has been calculated for the Golden Gate mineralisation, this near-mine target has the potential to add value to the project.
Larvotto Resources managing director Ron Heeks comments on the results.
“Drilling at Eleanora continues to demonstrate the potential to deliver meaningful intersections, while Golden Gate is starting to show real continuity with multiple lodes developing,” he said.
“Whilst results have been received slower than anticipated, the drilling team have been making strong progress across multiple zones.
“Drilling at Eleanora and Golden Gate will conclude shortly; however, the team is already advancing new targets at Metz and Freehold.
“This exploration strategy balances near-mine growth with broader district potential, positioning Hillgrove for both immediate resource additions and long-term upside.”
Exploration drilling has commenced at Metz, targeting the Blacklode-Syndicate intersection, a priority area for near-term resources.
First-pass drilling has begun at Freehold, 1.2km east of the Hillgrove processing plant.
The diamond drilling program at Eleanora-Garibaldi and Golden Gate is focused on infilling and extending previously identified mineralisation.
Multiple new intercepts at Eleanora have confirmed the continuity of high-grade zones.
