The Kingspan Water Tanks advantageThe Kingspan Water Tanks advantage

Since 1934, Kingspan Water Tanks is the trusted water tank brand. These are no ordinary tanks — they are constructed to withstand even mining’s toughest challenges. Ideal for a range of uses from hydrant and AS2304:2019 fire water storage to desalinated water and stormwater detention applications, Kingspan’s tanks are truly versatile.

Kingspan Water Tanks is a trusted name in industrial storage, delivering robust, high-capacity tank solutions specifically engineered to handle the tough demands of mining, slurry, and process water applications. With decades of experience and a proven track record across harsh and remote environments, these tanks are built for strength, chemical resistance and long service life.

One of the compelling features of Kingspan Water Tanks’ Commercial and Industrial product portfolio is the diversity on offer. The company’s range includes glass-fused-to-steel, epoxy-coated, and galvanised steel tanks — all offering modular designs for easy transport and rapid on-site assembly. Kingspan Water Tanks systems are designed to handle abrasive slurries, corrosive fluids, and large volumes of process water with minimal maintenance. With comprehensive engineering support, fast project turnaround, and tanks compliant with global standards, Kingspan Water Tanks delivers reliability where it counts most — on site, in operation and for the long term.

The Model KSR round tanks from Kingspan Water Tanks are particularly noteworthy for their adaptability. As liner tanks, they are suited to many storage applications. These tanks are equipped with various liner membranes, compatible with different water sources and chemical compositions. These tanks are constructed to AS2304:2019 standards using Kingspan Water Tanks’ exclusive hydraulic jacking system, delivering on practicality. Furthermore, they are flat-packed for transportation across Australia or even overseas.

Adding diversity to the Kingspan Water Tanks offerings are the Model KSS square/rectangular tanks. These tanks can function as a single unit or feature compartments for segregating water contents. They are flexible in terms of foundations, capable of being installed on flat level concrete slabs to walls, piers or beams. Available in a galvanised finish or stainless steel 304 and 316 versions, these tanks can also be powder coated to align with any colour scheme.

Kingspan Water Tanks recently demonstrated their innovative prowess at a hospital in Perth. Within a span of just seven days, they replaced a corroded fire tank with a gleaming new AS2304:2019 Compliant Fire Tank, inclusive of a lateral partition. The newly installed tank, measuring 4m in length, 3.5m in width and 2m in depth, was sectioned into two equal compartments for optimal efficiency and easy maintenance.

Recently the Kingspan Water Tanks team also worked at the Hope Downs mine site to install reliable and durable water storage supporting critical water infrastructure at one of WA’s leading iron ore operations.

Kingspan Water Tanks installed four 500KL Commercial Corrugated Steel Tanks, each measuring 14.565m in diameter and 3.6m in height. Two of the tanks are fire and two for potable water storage.  The project demanded high-capacity tanks to support both fire protection systems and potable water supply for onsite personnel.

All of Kingspan Water Tanks’ commercial and industrial tanks are proudly manufactured in Queensland or WA, adhering to a quality management system certified to ISO 9001.
