VENTICO offers cost-effective upgrades to cleaner, compliant diesel power. The company designs and builds the cleanest-running diesel systems in the industry, integrating Catalysed Diesel Particulate Filter (CDPF) filtration and SEMS safety shutdown.
At the core of its engine systems is a patented CDPF — a fully passive system that eliminates diesel particulate matter (DPM) without active regeneration. With no paper elements and minimal maintenance requirements, the CDPF significantly improves underground air quality and reduces long-term operating costs.
Engineered with VENTICO ‘s SEMS engine management system, packages provide IECEx-certified shutdown control, fault monitoring, and operational safety. The SEMS system can also automatically data log engine activity, shutdown events and sensor history — giving mine operators vital traceability, diagnostics and compliance reporting at their fingertips.
Together with the CDPF system, SEMS gives VENTICO the cleanest, safest, and most advanced diesel engine packages available in the Australian underground coal industry.
Product range
VENTICO Australia offers a range of purpose-built machines — representing reliability, safety and low emissions — mechanical graders (GV Razor), LHD’s (CV & KV 1050), QDS bolter with on board hydraulics (DB Bolter), man transport (TV Drover) and long wall clearance systems.
The GV Razor Underground Grader is VENTICO Australia’s flagship solution for high-performance underground grading. Built tough for the extreme demands of mining environments, the GV Razor combines serious power, rugged engineering, a compact low-profile design and a heavier footprint to deliver outstanding performance and reliability in confined underground spaces.
Based on the Caterpillar 12M grader platform, purpose-built for underground coal use, the GV Razor has Caterpillar 3306 PCNA or Perkins 1106/C7.1 DES engine options — both fitted with VENTICO’S CDPF.
The machines feature low-emissions operation with extended service life, an operator-focused design with improved visibility and ergonomics, fully compliant DES and TBS systems and integration with SEMS Electronic Engine Shutdown System for automated safety control
The TV Drover is VENTICO ‘s dependable underground personnel carrier, purpose-built to deliver safe, efficient crew transport in demanding coal mining environments. Designed for durability and flexibility, it offers reliability for daily operations, emergency response and multi-purpose utility tasks.
The TV Drover is Powered by the Perkins 1104/C4.4 DES engine package with integrated CDPF and SEMS shutdown and has a carrying capacity of up to 14 personnel. The TV drover is also capable of towing loads 2500Kg unbraked and 5000Kg braked.
The VENTICO 1050 Loader is a mid-size, low profile LHD for load-and-haul operations in coal roadways. Engine options include Caterpillar 3306, Caterpillar 3126, or Perkins 1106/C7.1 DES.
Boasting class-leading emission control, rugged frame and efficient hydraulic layout for reduced heat and wear, the 1050 Loader has proven power and service access for 10.5t payloads.
