Thank you for advertising with the Australian Mining Review. This document will run you through the five simple steps required to make your booking as smooth and easy as possible.

Step 1: Confirmation of booking

Once you have made a booking, our accounts department will send out conformation.

There may be a delay between finalising your booking and contact from the journalist coordinating your booking. In the meantime send through any materials to our team at [email protected]

We encourage you to send through any logos and high resolution images [300dpi or 1MB] through to our artwork inbox as soon as possible.

Step 2: The deadline

A journalist will contact you and supply advert and/or editorial specifications, and will give you a deadline for materials – please adhere to this!

The deadline ensures the journalist has enough time to write your editorial, coordinate your booking and liaise with you for approvals. The print cycle is busy, and so are our journalists.

A journalist will resupply you with the advert and editorial specifications attached to the bottom of this document.

Step 3: Supply materials

Advert Materials

Once you have supplied content for your advert our design team will create and send the advert proof to you for approval. If you have any changes to make please let them know as soon as possible.

If you have supplied your advert we will still send you the final proof for sign off as part of our approvals process.

Editorial Materials

Once you have supplied the content/direction for your editorial text, our team will create and send the draft back to you for approval. We have strict style guidelines that are non-negotiable, but the journalist will make any factual changes you would like.

If you provide/write your editorial yourself, our managing editor will review and sub to suit the paper’s style guide. This will be sent back to you for approval.

Step 4: Approvals

Once your final changes have been made our staff will send you a confirmation email to inform you that your booking has been finalised and content is ready for print. Please be advised that no changes are able to be made after the final materials deadline.

Step 5: Receiving your copy of The Australian Mining Review

Once the paper has gone to print you will receive both an online link and a hard copy in the mail – please advise our staff if you do not receive this within a week of publication.
