Rio Tinto and Aymium partner to trial renewable biocarbon product Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) and Aymium have partnered to develop and trial a renewable biocarbon product for use as an alternative resource to reduce emissions in large scale industrial processes. This product has been successfully trialled as a replacement for anthracite used in ilmenite smelting processes at Rio’s metallurgical complex in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. New resources sector media campaign A NEW media campaign has begun to highlight the widespread benefits of the WA resources sector to the State economy and local communities. ‘The Resources Sector Powers WA’ campaign will be run across Perth, the South West, Goldfields and the North West by The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME) on behalf of the sector.
