Additionally, safety has been built into every detail. The coupler includes a non-contact voltage window, enabling quick verification of voltage presence with a non-contact detector. Testing can be performed above 3.3kV when unfilled and from 4kV when filled.
Designed for diverse industry environments, the coupler is certified to IP66/68, providing protection against dust and water ingress. The coupler weighs 22kg and the adaptor 13.5kg, ensuring ease of handling. Both the adaptor and the coupler are dimensioned to meet the Type A plug requirements specified in AS1299-2022.
