Pilbara Minerals chief sustainability officer Sandra McInnes says she’s impressed with the applications in this second round of the program.

“It is wonderful to see such a diverse range of applications from different community groups in the Pilbara,” she said.

“There are some great organisations doing valuable work in the region that will make a difference and we are proud to support them.

“We hope the support of Pilbara Minerals will contribute to the social and economic prosperity of the communities in which we operate and we look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with the Pilbara community through this program and other existing and future community initiatives.”

Pilbara Minerals’ community grants program is an annual initiative open to community organisations to apply for funding of up to $10,000.
