Former Lynas Rare Earths (ASX: LYC) managing director and chief executive Amanda Lacaze has been appointed to the Vulcan Energy (ASX: VUL) board.

The MOU supports Metallium’s plan to develop a national network of e-waste processing facilities, strategically located near major e-waste collection hubs, rapidly expanding U.S. data centre industrial parks and regional industrial corridors with strong logistics and waste generation.

Whitehaven says it is on track to deliver $60-$80m in annualised cost savings by EOFY.

Metso divests its ferrous business

Metso divests its ferrous business Metso has signed an agreement to sell its ferrous business to SMS group, a global company providing technology and services in plant construction and mechanical engineering for the metals industry. Some of the businesses to be divested include travelling grate pelletising and CircoredTM direct reduction process, as well as the related service business. About 180 employees, primarily based in Germany, India and China, are planned to join the SMS group at the closing of the transaction.
