An archaeological/anthropological heritage survey has been secured with the Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) over Raiden Resources’ (ASX: RDN) Andover North project area in WA.

The heritage survey is scheduled to begin April 2, immediately after the completion of the Andover South heritage survey.

The survey will focus on the areas within the Andover North project area, interpreted to be underlaid by the Andover ultramafic complex which is considered to be a highly prospective host unit for pegmatite mineralisation.

Based on historical and recent data, Raiden considers that there exists a high prospectivity for pegmatites on Andover North.

Raiden managing director Dusko Ljubojevic says the company is pleased to have secured an additional heritage survey.

“We are very pleased to have now secured heritage surveys over both the Andover North and Andover South projects,” he said.

“The Andover North project survey will be conducted immediately after the Andover South survey, allowing the company to commence with targeting work on Andover North, which may hopefully lead into a broader drilling campaign across all the Andover projects.”

Upon completion of the survey, Raiden will aim to undertake a targeted air core drilling program to define potential pegmatites and form targets for follow-up diamond and reverse circulation drilling.

In October 2023, Raiden executed a Native Title and Heritage Deed with NAC across Andover.

This deed added onto the existing Native Title and Heritage Exploration Agreement which allows Raiden to engage proactively with the Traditional Owners through the NAC to conduct heritage surveys across the area.
