Tivan (ASX:TVN) has signed a heads of agreement (HoA) with Cambridge Gulf to collaborate on opportunities to support its Speewah vanadium-titanium-ion project.

Speewah is located in the Kimberley region of northwest WA, roughly 100km south of the port town of Wyndham.

Cambridge Gulf operates and manages Wyndham Port and has business interests in shipping, fuel and logistics across northern Australia.

Under the HoA, Tivan and Cambridge Gulf have begun discussions to explore potential opportunities for Cambridge Gulf, through its Wyndham Port operation, to support the Speewah project.

This potential support extends to operational facilitation, import and export services from the port, and logistical services between the Speewah project and Wyndham Port.

Additionally, both parties are evaluating potential land sites controlled by Cambridge Gulf that could be suitable to support operational requirements for Speewah.

Tivan executive chairman Grant Wilson said the company is excited to formalise their relationship with Cambridge Gulf.

“Tivan is delighted to formalise our relationship with Cambridge Gulf building on highly collaborative efforts in recent months,” he said.

“CGL is an ideal strategic partner for Tivan with its proud heritage in the East Kimberley and its extensive community-based roots.

“CGL is strongly committed to First Nations employment and business development, topics of central importance to Tivan’s mission.

“The close proximity [of Wyndham Port] and logistical facilitation available may support Tivan pursuing an expedited pathway to project delivery at Speewah.”
