Epiroc Women in Mining Scholarship applications open

The 2026 Epiroc Women in Mining Scholarship is open for applications to female STEM or technology-related fields students in WA. 

The scholarship will provide financial support, paid industry experience and professional development opportunities to help one outstanding student take the next step towards a rewarding career in the resource sector.  

Designed to support, celebrate and inspire the next generation of women in mining, the scholarship is delivered in partnership between AusIMM and Epiroc. 

AusIMM and Epiroc are committed to building a more diverse and inclusive mining industry, investing in emerging talent, creating real opportunities for growth and empowering women to lead with confidence.? 

The 2026 scholarship recipient will:? 

  • Represent and inspire others as the 2026 Epiroc Women in Mining Ambassador? 
  • Receive a $2,000 Visa gift card to support their studies or invest in their personal growth? 
  • Gain paid work experience with Epiroc, working on real-world projects? 
  • Experience an overnight tour of an active mine site and get a behind the scenes look at Epiroc’s facilities? 
  • Receive two VIP tickets to AusIMM’s International Women’s Day Perth celebration in March 2026? 
  • Access a complimentary delegate pass to one of AusIMM’s 2026 technical conferences in Perth? 
  • Enjoy exclusive invitations to AusIMM’s New Professionals networking events throughout the year? 
  • Be officially recognised and celebrated at the AusIMM Awards?? 

The scholarship is open to final-year female students studying STEM or technology-related fields at Curtin University, The University of Western Australia, Murdoch University or Edith Cowan University.
