QUEENSLAND-based D&R Tarpaulins has been operating for more than 35 years; due to its increased involvement in the mining and construction sectors, it recently undertook a group restructure.
The restructure incorporated various company arms (D&R Tarpaulins, D&R Liners, D&R Environmental and D&R Bulk Bag Services) under one parent company, D&R Group.
The liners arm specialises in the manufacture of pre-fabricated liners for water storage, such as dam liners, pit and channel liners, and floating covers.
The tarpaulins arm of the group can provide tarpaulins and covers for any size job, including bulk stockpiles of minerals, grain, sugar and hay, and machinery and container shelters.
D&R also manufactures the Porta Tank, a self-supported quick response tank for the containment of fluid.
It can be used for spill cleanup, water treatment, effluent containment or temporary fluid storage.
D&R’s environmental arm provides a range of portable and static bunding and associated liners to the resources sector. From its Brisbane factory, D&R can manufacture pre-fabricated liners as large as 8000sqm and can deliver world-wide.
The company has extensive experience and can work with clients to advise on the best option for their application.
