Mining giants join WA Mining 2026 as the countdown begins

Returning to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on 16–17 September 2026, WA Mining Conference & Exhibition 2026 (WA Mining) will bring together the people, companies and technologies driving the future of the resources sector, with a strong line-up of sponsors and industry leaders already confirmed.

Blackwoods, Conveyor Integrated Business Solutions (CIBS) and Virgin Australia will play a key role in supporting the event as sponsors, joining a growing community of organisations committed to connecting the mining sector and showcasing the solutions helping shape the industry’s next chapter.

Adding further excitement to the event, the WA Mining Pavilion will feature some of the biggest names in resources, with Fortescue, Glencore and Thiess set to showcase their expertise, innovation and industry-leading capabilities.

The Mining Pavilion will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to engage with major mining operators, gain insights into current industry priorities and explore the technologies and services supporting safer, smarter and more sustainable operations.

Prime Creative Media Relationship Manager, Rebecca Todesco, said the involvement of major industry players reflects the strength and momentum behind the event.

“WA Mining continues to grow as a key meeting point for the resources sector, bringing together the organisations and innovators who are shaping the future of mining,” Todesco said.

“The support from our sponsors, along with the participation of leading companies like Hancock iron ore, Thiess and Glencore, highlights the incredible collaboration happening across the industry. We’re excited to welcome the mining community back to Perth and create another opportunity for those meaningful connections and conversations.”

With Western Australia recognised as one of the world’s leading mining regions, WA Mining 2026 will provide a platform for the industry to connect, collaborate and discover the latest advancements across technology, services and operations.
