An article published on page 13 of the May edition, ‘Skills-based training needs disruption’, incorrectly stated that there was a professional affiliation between SkillsDMC and Our People Group.
SkillsDMC has no past, current or planned business relationship or affiliation with Our People Group. SkillsDMC does not endorse the views and information contained in the article, which has since been removed from the online edition of The Australian Mining Review and the website.
Numbers and statistics quoted regarding the Australian Skills Quality Authority and completions data were also unsubstantiated beyond those provided by Our People Group, as were additional claims made by Our People Group regarding the importation of labour by overseas companies.
In addition, the Our People Group is a registered training organisation (RTO) and not merely advisory as implied in the article.
