SERVICE body manufacturer XL Industries took its name from the letters in ‘excellent’, a standard the company has held itself to in the 20 years since its establishment.
XL makes service bodies for a wide range of end users world-wide, manufacturing mine-compliant service bodies to uncompromising standards. XL’s service bodies are designed to handle tough mining conditions – each of the company’s designs can be supplied with or without Roll-over Protection (ROP) bars – and are fully compliant with BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance safety standards.
The XL ROP service body weighs less than 300kg, lighter than similar aluminium bodies on the market, which allows operators to carry an extensive  range of equipment and tools without exceeding a vehicles load rating.
Each ROP-equipped XL service body has a tough steel exterior, and the internal fit out can be tailored to suit a range of tools and equipment, creating an efficient working environment. “Self-sufficiency and efficiency is what XL ROP mine service bodies are all about,” XL managing director Nick Korganow said.
“We also offer a wide range of accessories that can be carried in case of emergencies and XL ROP bodies are fully fitted-out at our factory to the required specifications before delivery.” XL mine service bodies can be delivered job-ready in less than eight weeks and delivered world-wide. The company also manufactures a range of canopies, trade-toppers and tool boxes, and has a spare parts support program to give its products an even longer working life.
