SINCE 2006 Black Cat Civil has operated in the civil, mining and construction industries across a growing list of sites in Queensland and the Northern Territory, including at the newly-opened Caval Ridge coal mine.

Black Cat is a leading civil construction company with an outstanding reputation for delivering safe, cost-effective and reliable project outcomes.

Black Cat currently employs only experienced operators specialising in final trim grader operation and excavator work; however, its capabilities do not end there, as the team has extensive experience in all aspects of bulk, detail and maintenance works.

Black Cat is also code compliant through the Master Builders Association Queensland and is industrial code compliant with the Building Industry Branch.

The company was heavily involved with the BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance’s (BMA’s) US$3.4 billion Caval Ridge coal mine, which was officially opened in October.
It worked with BMD Group and Thiess and directly contracted to BMA to complete works such as concrete pads and pits, construction of ramps into pits and removal of rejects from plant.

Black Cat’s relationships are built on trust, with clients confident in its advice, regional knowledge (thanks to its location), self-reliance and flexibility; and a solid reputation for safety and value for money.
