FOR more than three years Kennards Hire has provided the tradespeople and general public of Darwin with a large range of equipment for an array of jobs. From June 2014, Kennards Hire Lift & Shift began stocking its products at the existing store in the Darwin suburb of Winnellie.
The extensive range includes large scale spreader bars, air skates, cable hauling equipment, hydraulic bolting and tensioning, and – in an Australian first – more cutting edge technologies such as the JDN cordless pendant hoist.
As well as providing clients with top shelf equipment, Kennards Hire Lift & Shift offers expert advice, and package solutions for any lifting job.
The addition of Kennards Hire Lift & Shift equipment to the Kennards Hire Winnellie branch is the latest in a line of expansions from the Lift & Shift team.
With a new store in Alexandria, Sydney, as well as a product range in the Kennards Hire outlet in East Tamaki, New Zealand, Lift & Shift is developing a strong foothold in the materials handling industry in both Australia and New Zealand in 2014.
Kennards Hire Lift & Shift general manager Andrew Lambert said the company had identified demand for easy access to both advice and equipment in the Northern Territory.
“We are in a period of rapid infrastructural growth in this part of Australia,” Mr Lambert said. “Kennards Hire Lift & Shift will supply equipment and offer advice to customers for a number of projects across the state.”
