THE team behind NSW-based Central Foundry, which has been 100 per cent Australian and family-owned since opening its doors in 1927, has watched its industry all but disappear due to cheap overseas imports during the last decade.
These products include engineering castings, bronze bushes, bearings, liners, wear plates and strips, in bronze, lead and aluminium alloys.
The company also has the capacity to deliver high production runs using its die casting facilities.
Central’s management is proud of the Australian company for competing successfully with overseas imports, and believes that the company’s superior quality, delivery times and realistic pricing will always keep it one step ahead.
