The grinding equipment and reline support experts

GEARS Mining

Choosing the correct company to support your needs for equipment and maintenance is vital to enhancing your productivity.

GEARS Mining offer a home-grown advantage on a global scale. GEARS, an acronym for Grinding Equipment And Reline Support, offers in-house manufacturing of mill relining systems.

GEARS Mining was established in 2014 in response to a demand from mine sites for highly skilled technical tradespeople. The company initially started out as a mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance company specialising in servicing mobile and fixed plants used throughout the crushing and grinding process.

Its outstanding dedication to providing unrivalled customer support and service led customers to urge the company to start designing equipment. In the current economic climate, clients are looking for multi-skilled vendors that can maintain and service their equipment on-site.

GEARS eliminate the expense and hassle of dealing with multiple vendors. Low overheads mean GEARS can pass on savings to clients by offering price matching or better pricing than most major OEMs.

World’s largest liner handler

What began as small products has scaled right through to large mill relining packages, consisting of all the equipment and tooling for your process plant, including rock breakers, inching drives, HPGR transporters, feed chute transporters, liner handlers and linerbolt removal tools.

GEARS Mining developed a record-breaking liner handler with a rated capacity of 8100kg. The design of the new liner handler reflects GEARS commitment to reliability, ease of maintenance and operator safety, ensuring equipment meets the diverse needs of the mining industry.

The new 8100 kg model is specifically optimised for high performance and safety with a suite of solutions that remove people from the mill floor, which is crucial for large-scale mining operations.

GEARS Mining co-director Ben Dunlop says the new mill relining machine is not just a step forward in technology.

“It’s a leap towards ensuring that our clients can achieve maximum productivity with minimal interruption,” he said.

With cutting-edge technology and innovative design, our mill relining machine offers cost-effective solutions for your mining needs. It not only meets but exceeds industry standards, providing exceptional value and performance.

The GEARS Mining difference

GEARS Mining has dealt with hard rock mining mill systems all over the globe and can rapidly deploy highly skilled technicians worldwide.

The company’s team of specialists have a minimum of 5 years’ experience before becoming a part of the GEARS Mining client support team. The owners, engineers, technical experts and application team have had long term careers with leading OEM companies in crushing and mill relining sectors. This experience gives them a deeply ingrained understanding of what it takes to deliver optimal performance and reliability

While GEARS Mining has an extensive reach, its team still builds personal and genuine relationships with clients to achieve the best results. GEARS Mining is not distracted by being the biggest or largest company; instead, the team focuses on finding the right solution for individual clients.

While it is an OEM of mill relining systems, its key driver focuses on customer support and equipment availability. This after-sale service is what GEARS Mining clients have come to appreciate as the most critical element to success.GEARS Mining
