Engineered Installations Group

Engineered Installation solutions

From humble beginnings, Engineered Installations Group (EIG) has rapidly emerged as a leader in specialist engineering, driven by a commitment to innovation and unwavering precision. EIG is dedicated to providing intelligent, integrated installation solutions designed for the most demanding heavy industries, including mining, transport, and commercial sectors. Operating from key hubs in Western Australia (WA) and with a major operational focus in Central Queensland (CQ), EIG’s solutions are setting the benchmark for performance across the Australian resource landscape.

Their ethos is clear: in critical industries, there is no room for error. This conviction underpins every system they design, install and support, ensuring clients operate with confidence, minimal downtime and reduced risk.

The foundation of precision: in-house engineering

EIG’s core strength lies in its ability to deliver bespoke systems development and installation. The in-house team specialises in the end-to-end design and integration of custom operational and safety systems, primarily for mine-site-ready and heavy vehicles. This includes the seamless integration of essential technologies such as mine-spec kits, advanced autonomous mining systems and complex safety solutions.

The engineering department is a sophisticated hub, leveraging a suite of advanced analytical tools to guarantee reliability. Beyond standard design, their capabilities encompass: 3D scanning, designing, printing, and prototyping; Finite Element Analysis (FEA); and Vibration Data Analysis. These analytical processes allow EIG to predict equipment behaviour under harsh physical conditions, detect early signs of wear, and rigorously test solutions for unwavering performance before they ever reach the field. This meticulous approach ensures expertise across critical areas like electrical systems, technology systems interfacing, power management and safety systems integration.

Strategic reach: WA, QLD and interstate service

EIG was established in 2020 as a specialised division of Harness Master Wiring Systems (HMWS). While it now operates as an independent entity, this heritage drives its success through a strategic partnership with HMWS, which serves as its main product supplier. This synergy allows EIG to maintain a supply chain dedicated to technical excellence and high-quality components.

Crucially, EIG maintains a strategic presence to service Australia’s largest resource markets. They operate metro services from a state-of-the-art Perth facility, designed for efficient installations for the WA market. In a major investment to support Australia’s resource sector, EIG has committed to the East Coast market with the opening of a new, key operational facility in Mackay, Central Queensland (CQ), ensuring localised support for its growing client base.

When projects demand on-site presence, EIG deploys dedicated, certified technicians through its comprehensive Field Services offering. Engagements range from single-unit fit-outs to long-duration, multi-site programs across regional WA and QLD. EIG’s highly trained workforce mobilises rapidly for metro, FIFO or DIDO assignments, ensuring safe and efficient project execution that adheres strictly to client schedule and quality requirements across state borders.

Expanding capabilities: skilled workforce solutions

Beyond physical installations, EIG addresses the industry’s critical need for skilled professionals by offering a comprehensive Labour Hire service. This service provides clients with qualified, site-ready personnel for projects, shutdowns and backfill requirements across the Perth metro and regional WA, extending their reach into the QLD market.

EIG supplies trades including auto electrical, mechanical/HD and boilermakers, alongside specialised roles such as S26 trained site supervision and project coordination. Personnel arrive fully compliant with current WHS, inductions, and VOCs/tickets, backed by rapid mobilisation and technical support. By linking clients with appropriate talent, EIG ensures workforce continuity and enables project completion to the highest safety and quality objectives. EIG delivers solutions recognised for their quality, reliability and forward-thinking design, firmly dedicated to setting the operational benchmark in Australia’s heavy industries.Engineered Installation solutions
