New safety features raise the bar for power equipment

POWER tools pioneer Bosch has raised the bar on innovation when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of Australian workers, by stocking a range of angle grinders fitted with high-tech safety
features.
Bosch’s range of lightweight angle grinders is the lightest on the marke in its category. The grinders are fittedwith revolutionary Bosch technology,which reduces the amount of vibratio experienced by the user by up to 50 per cent.
Along with reduced vibration, selected Bosch angle grinders are equipped with the following safety features: ‘Kickback Stop’, which detects a jammed disk and automatically stops the grinder; ‘Restart Protection’, which forces the operator to restart tools that are unplugged whilst still engaged; the ‘Bullet Proof Guard’, which protects against flying fragments if parts of the workpiece break; and ‘Soft Start,’ which ensures the grinder starts up slowly to maintain maximum control.
Bosch also has power tools that are compact and robust and suitable for drilling in wood, metal and masonry.
