Global Resources Innovation Expo 2025

Global Resources Innovation Expo 2025

From May 20th to 22nd 2025 Brisbane Convention Centre will host a plethora of speakers and innovative industry legends at the Global Resources Innovation Expo 2025 (GRX25).

An exciting evolution of the highly renowned Austmine Conference, GRX25 is an international ‘by industry, for industry’ conference and exhibition. A strategic collaboration between leading bodies in the resources sector, GRX25 is a partnership between Austmine and AusIMM.

Austmine has been the leading industry association for the Australian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector for over 35 years.

AusIMM is the peak body for professionals in the resource sector, representing a diverse global community involved in all aspects of the mining industry.

This collaboration is dedicated to uniting global leaders, innovators and professionals in the mining and the METS sectors to grow and nurture a sustainable, technology-led future for the global resources industry.

This year they have three prominent keynote speakers: Geoff Pryde, chief technical director at PsiQuantum and renowned quantum physicist; Marita Cheng, founder and chief executive at Aubot and Robogals; Owen Hegarty, co-founder and executive chairmen at EMR Capital.

Mr. Pryde will be covering The Case for Quantum, discussing quantum technology and its implications for the future of the resource sector. Ms. Cheng will be discussing Empowering the Change Makers and Engaging the New Generation, covering the ever-transforming resource sector and the importance of supporting the next generation of trailblazers. Mr. Hegarty will be using his fifty years of global mining industry experience to cover Mining’s Pivotal Role in Australia’s Past, Present and Future Success, discussing how Australia’s prosperity has been shaping the resource sector for generations.

GRX25 showcases Australia’s leadership in technology, innovation and solutions that continue to shape the future of the resource sector on a global scale. With key themes including pioneering global change, trailblazing technologies, and paving the way to our bold future, GRX25 is set to showcase the best of what the resource sector has to offer.

In addition to the stellar keynote speaker lineup, there is anticipated to be over 2,000 delegates and 150 exhibitors present.  In attendance there will also be astounding numbers of professionals from complementary sectors such as defence, space, research, education, manufacturing, and government.

The Australian Mining Review is a proud media partner of the Global Resources Innovation Expo and copies of our hard copy newspaper will be available at the event.  In addition, we will be publishing a feature on the conference, with a full overview of the main talking points, key innovations and highlights, in our June edition.
