
Understanding groundwater: A vital tool for industry
AS awareness of the economic and environmental need for efficient water resource management grows, so too does the mining industry’s requirement for groundwater-savvy professionals. This has driven a demand for professional groundwater industry training, particularly in the area of practical water science. The National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (NCGRT) is seeking to meet demand with its training program. Led by training manager Joanne Barbaro, the program recognises a need for water professionals to maintain a solid foundation of scientific understanding.
